Have you heard of Glossybox?
It is a service where after subscribing, you get delivered a Glossybox containing 5 beauty miniatures. It is a good way to try new products, get a little surprise each month and feed my beauty product addiction. A friend offered me a 3-months subscription for my birthday. I really liked the concept and since then I have renewed by subscription.
Here is that I received in the February Glossybox:
From left to right:
Balance me Rose Otto Body Cream: I liked this moisturizer. The smell is quite strong but I do not mind it. It left my skin nicely hydrated. I do not particularly look at using Natural product but it is a bonus that this one has 99% products of natural origin in it. I will keep using it.
Figs and Rouge Rambling Rose Balm: This is a multipurpose balm. I really like the idea of having a multipurpose product. I tried it on my lips and my hands. I did not really like it on my lips. I did not like the taste of the balm. However I enjoyed using the products on my hands. It takes some time to be fully absorbed by the skin but once it is, my hands were super soft and they smelled lovely. I will keep this in my handbag to use it on my hands.
Micabella cosmetics Mineral Eye Shadow: I did not enjoy this product. I am not a big fan of powder eyeshadows, I find it messy. I prefer hard-pressed ones. Also I thought that the staying power was not very good.
MEMEME Cosmetics Beat the blues: This skin illuminator was a good surprise. It gives a slightly golden radiance which I really liked. I do not tend to use illuminators everyday but I should, it is worth the effort. I would recommend this. The full size price is £5.50 for 12 ml, much cheaper than a Benefit one (and needless to say that 12 ml will last you forever).
Miners Cosmetics Lip colour: This lipstick has a nice colour and does not dry the lips. However I was not really impressed with the staying power. Best to keep it in your bag for a touch up!
That’s it until next month’s review!
Do you know any of these products? If so, what do you think?
