Hi
I’m sure that I’m not the first one to have this idea, but I have recently started mixing my cosmetics. When in need to even out my skin tone, I use the Clinique Age Defense BB cream. I really, really like this product, it has great coverage. The only minor downside is that it doesn’t have a very silky texture so you really need to rub it in. Recently, I have started mixing it in with my moisturiser and it’s brilliant. Easy to apply, and it also saves me time in the morning.
The other mix I have started doing is adding a drop of almond oil to my moisturiser in the evenings. It really does the trick and saves me from having two moisturisers. The almond oil is also brilliant to use on my hair or as a makeup remover. I do like a multipurpose product!
Do you mix your cosmetics? Have you tried almond oil in your beauty routine?
I loved massaging almond oil into my skin when I was pregnant, it smells lovely too I’m pretty sure you can use it as a base to make your own massage oil with essential oils too.

Good idea! I love the smell of lavender so could add a few drops of lavender essential oil to it. Thanks Jemma

I used to mix my old foundation with a moisturiser as it was a tad to dark and didn’t look good if I had a dry patch its brilliant x
